January Update: Happy New Year!

“Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name. And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.“

Hebrews 13:15-16

Generally, every 25^th of December, no matter how difficult things could be during the whole year, we always celebrate the birth of Jesus. It’s a way to remind everyone about his sacrifices and love, and the importance of sharing.

On that day, it is always a pleasure for our children to share gift to other children in the community. This year, the Christmas party was a success. – The community’s leaders, parents, and students were all there to celebrate with us. – More than 100 kids received gift from our kids.- We eat together and enjoy the moment.

One Vision Haiti impacts the community every year through its school, its church, and its orphanage. The generation change that we have been working on is not only for the children, the old people are also part of it. Many people’s heart have started to change towards the God’s words that we teach in our services at church, and from the biblical education we give at the school. More people are dedicated to participate in the activities (spiritual, social…) we give in the community. 

We bless the name of the Lord for this privilege.

Besides, in the past days one of our kids was suffering from a very serious fever. The sickness was related to a pneumonic issue. The child went to the hospital and was hospitalized for two days. Thank GOD for the recovery from that sickness and that they could celebrate Christmas with the brothers and sisters in the orphanage. 

We want to thank you on behalf of Katelyn’s Funds for your financial help. You helped us make this Christmas party possible. Around 150 and 200 people could eattogether. It was a joyful moment.

What’s more, the school is painted, and the students are so excited to learn in a nice environment. Without your support and contribution, this wouldn’t be possible.
