Psalm 27:1

Update on COVID-19 and One Vision

Three months since the Lockdown, One Vision is still committed to
continuing with its mission. Despite the Covid-19, the children are still our
priorities. We have worked as hard as we can to protect our children from the virus, to bring them joy and peace, during this stressful moment. Thank God, they are very fine. Until now, we have not received any bad news regarding the Coronavirus. God keeps his promises, and proves how great and faithful he is. We are grateful to him. The kids are safe, and we all are alive. That’s great news!

Our children are still home, working with their selected teachers at the orphanage under the pavilion. Due to the Lockdown, they can’t go to their classrooms to follow their regular program. The government has not taken any decisions yet regarding the opening of the school. We have seen different calendars, but that’s just rumor. Everyone is waiting for the official calendar of the government.

Nevertheless, we are facing some issues. We have hygienical problem in the
orphanage. The two septic tanks that we have are full, and cause the moisture of the bathrooms. To fix that problem, we have called a company (JEDCO), and they will use four trucks. It’s necessary to drain the septic tanks as quick as we can. It will cost 50,000 gourdes per truck.
We really hope to start draining the tanks as soon as possible. We count on you as usual, to help us fix that problem.

Thank you beforehand for your help regarding the septic tanks’ problem.
Thank you for your consistent prayer.
Your prayers mean a lot to us. We feel blessed to have you as partners, and family.

Please, continue to pray for us and our children.

We need God’s protection more than ever.

May God bless you!
